Overview

Customer management (Customers) ties into addresses, groups, and risk flags. Guest checkouts still create lightweight customer rows.

Placeholder procedures

• Merge duplicate customers only after backing up the `ps_customer` table (example disclaimer).
• Outstanding balances appear when specific payment modules mark orders as unpaid.
• Newsletter opt-in is GDPR-sensitive; your DPA overrides this help text.

RMM context

rmmprivateshop and rmmwallet may restrict which customers see which catalog segments—final help will reference your actual rules.

Retail Media Manager (RMM): final copy will be reviewed against your golden image and custom modules.
